I’m based in Dunn, North Carolina, and proudly serve surrounding communities throughout North Carolina and beyond. Travel is always welcomed for thoughtfully designed portrait experiences and meaningful celebrations.
What types of sessions do you offer?
I specialize in newborn, motherhood, family, milestone, and portrait photography designed to preserve genuine connection and timeless storytelling through every season of life.
Do you have a studio or shoot on location?
Both. Sessions may take place in my professional studio or at thoughtfully chosen outdoor locations, depending on the experience and vision you’re wanting to create.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is soft, timeless, and emotionally driven, with an emphasis on natural connection, gentle direction, and refined storytelling. Every image is thoughtfully designed to feel genuine, elegant, and lasting.
Preparing for Your Session
What should we wear?
Neutral tones, soft textures, and timeless pieces photograph beautifully and create a refined, cohesive look. Every booked client receives thoughtful styling guidance to help your session feel effortless and beautifully coordinated.
My partner or kids are nervous. What if they don’t cooperate?
My sessions are calm, relaxed, and intentionally low-pressure. Rather than forcing stiff poses, I gently guide natural interaction and authentic connection to create imagery that feels genuine and meaningful.
How long do your sessions typically last?
Most portrait sessions last approximately 60–90 minutes, allowing time for connection, movement, and a relaxed experience. Mini sessions are shorter and designed for seasonal or milestone moments.
Can we bring our pet to the session?
Absolutely! Pets are family too. I simply ask that we plan ahead so we can choose a location that feels comfortable and appropriate for everyone involved.
Do you provide props or should I bring my own?
I love a soft, timeless approach that keeps the focus on connection and storytelling. For newborn and milestone sessions, I provide a curated collection of wraps, delicate textures, and minimal styling pieces. Meaningful personal items are always welcome.
Booking & Payments
How far in advance should I book?
Newborn sessions are best reserved during pregnancy, while portrait and family sessions are typically booked 4–6 weeks in advance. However, if availability allows, I’m always happy to accommodate last-minute inquiries when possible.
How do I secure my date?
A signed contract and 25% non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your session date. The remaining balance is due prior to your session.
Major credit cards and bank transfers are accepted through a secure online client portal for a simple and seamless booking experience.
What payment methods do you accept?
Do you offer custom payment plans?
Yes. Custom payment plans are available for larger collections and thoughtfully tailored experiences when needed.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
What happens if it rains?
For outdoor sessions, weather is carefully monitored leading up to your session date. If rescheduling is needed, it is always complimentary so your experience can remain relaxed and beautifully planned.
What if I need to cancel last minute?
Retainers are non-refundable, but if illness or an emergency arises, they may be applied toward a new date within 6 months. No-shows forfeit the retainer and require a new booking retainer to reserve another session.
How do I reschedule my session?
If you need to reschedule, simply reach out as soon as possible. Together, we’ll coordinate a new date based on availability and the season you’re hoping to preserve.
Image Rights
Image Delivery
When will I receive my photos?
Portrait galleries are typically delivered within 2–3 weeks. Wedding galleries may take 6–8 weeks. A small preview gallery is often shared shortly after your session so you can relive a few beautiful moments while you wait.
How are the photos delivered?
Your images are delivered through a private online gallery where you can easily view, download, share, and preserve your memories.
Do I get the printing rights?
Yes. High-resolution digital images include a personal print release so you may print and preserve your photographs wherever you choose. To maintain the integrity of my work, additional editing or alterations are not permitted.
Can I order professional prints?
Absolutely. Your gallery includes access to professional print products and heirloom-quality artwork thoughtfully designed to preserve your images beautifully for years to come.
